Magicians is a film due for release in April 2007[1], whilst the Internet Movie Database state an exact date of 18 May 2007,[2] starring Robert Webb and David Mitchell. It is about two stage magicians competing in a magic competition. Currently in post-production, the film is directed by Andrew O'Connor and written by Jesse Armstrong and Sam Bain, who are also the writers of the Channel 4 sitcom Peep Show, which stars Mitchell and Webb. Other cast members include Jessica Stevenson, Darren Boyd, Steve Edge, Andrea Riseborough and Peter Capaldi.
