Magician's Force

Magician's Force (MFC) is the eighth English booster to be released in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game. It is comprised of the Japanese sets Advent of Union and Champion of Black Magicians. It contains a new set of cards called Union monsters, with the ability to combine and strengthen other monsters, along with plenty of Spellcaster Monsters, and Spellcaster-support cards. Also, it contains a group of cards known as "Amazoness" Monsters. Finally, it introduced the "Spell Counter" mechanic in which certain cards could only be played by removing a number of "Spell Counters" which are usually acquired by playing Spell cards. The set also contained the first Secret Rare Spell Card, Diffusion Wave-Motion. This set is notable as it is the first set to mark the change of Magic cards to Spell cards. Highly sought after cards include Breaker the Magical Warrior, Tribe Infecting Virus, Magical Scientist and Dark Paladin. It contains two Secret Rares, ten Ultra Rares, ten Super Rares, seventeen Rares, and sixty-nine Common cards.
