[edit] Story Line
A princess is kidapped by a wizard and taken into an enchanted forest. It is up to you to rescue her.
[edit] Gameplay
As the name clearly indicates, this is a puzzle game. It is not a Tetris-type game, but is in a format resembling early platform games such as Lode Runner or the rivets level of Donkey Kong. It features platforms, propped up by obstacles and spikes. Your goal is to knock these out of the way and reach the princess in as few steps as possible. There are also flying enemies and crawling slimes to be avoided (or to trick the slimes into falling on spikes). There are also doors where you can slip through to another area of the screen, sometimes a "no entry" appears on a door when you or an enemy has been through the opposite door, you can walk past a "no entry" without going through that door.
[edit] Scores
Points are based on a count of how many steps were used to rescue the princess, subtracted from the standard number of steps for that level. Final scores are given in the form of an "IQ" level.
[edit] Graphics
The graphics are simple and in the cute cartoon vein. With use of very few pixels, the boy and the princess are able to thoroughly convey expressions of joy and delight. At the end of rounds where you successfully beat the standard score, the boy and the princess hold hands and jump for joy across the stage.
[edit] Battery
The cartridge has a battery backup, and the game can be set to continue where you left off, so you do not have to repeat the same puzzle every time.
