Magic Music Days

Disney Magic Music Days is a unique educational program designed for students of the arts. It gives instrumental, vocal and dance ensembles an opportunity to showcase their talents in a professional setting, study their craft in a positive, lively environment, and have fun doing it!

The Disney Magic Music Days program at the Disneyland® Resort in California and at the Walt Disney World® Resort in Florida is available year-round to performing groups of schools, studios and other organizations around the globe. Workshops are taught by professionals in their respective fields: actors, choreographers, comedians, dancers, composers, singers, arrangers, musicians and conductors. Many are nationally recognized artists, working in Hollywood and performing arts venues throughout the country.

Magic Music Days is a program put on by the Disneyland Resort, the Walt Disney World Resort and the Disneyland Resort Paris. It brings in school bands to perform in the parks and do clinics. These groups include:

Instrumental Groups
Vocal Groups
Dance Groups

Bands typically march through a park in one of various days, and then take part in a musical clinic with a Disney "cast member".

In the occasion of an actual performance, Orchestras may play on an outdoor stage at the marketplace, an outdoor shopping center. The stage faces a small grandstand with a small lake behind it. Orchestras also participate in a workshop and perform music which is played with a classic disney film.

Students who go back stage will see roads and the back of the mountains of Toon Town, which are suspended on poles. The students will then have their picture taken and either perform, take part in a workshop, or both. They can purchase drinks or snacks backstage through vending machines. Disney has two recording studios and two larger rehearsal halls.
