Magdalena Mohar Jarc is an actress and an alpine hiker from Ljubljana, Slovenia. She claims to be the true discoverer of Ötzi the Iceman, a 5,000 year old mummy who died on the Ötztal Alps in Italy. She claimed she discovered the body on September 19, 1991, and then revealed its location to Helmut Simon, who is, along with his wife Erika, the generally recognized discoverer. The case was taken before the Italian courts.
