Maeda Toshimasa

Maeda Toshimasa (前田利昌; ? - August 4, 1560) Also known as Toshiharu (利春). Son of Maeda Toshitaka. Lord of Arako Castle in the old Japanese province of Owari. Father of Toshihisa (?-1583), Yasukatsu (?-1594), Toshifusa, (Sawaki) Yoshiyuki (?-1572), Hidetsugu (?-1585), Masa (given in marriage to Takabatake Sadayoshi), and the famous Maeda Toshiie (1538-1599), lord of the "Million Koku Kaga Domain". Vassal of Oda Nobuhide, who nominally ruled Owari Province from his seat at Kiyosu Castle.
Maeda Toshimasa was depicted by Sugawara Bunta in the 2002 NHK historical drama "Toshiie to Matsu" (利家とまつ)
