Thanks for uploading Image:Dendrophthoe falcata.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. [edit] Locality recording

Dear Prof. Gadgil, with regard to your recent additions, I was looking at some other option of perhaps recording distribution ranges. I have been looking at spot-mapping as an option. One way would be to add a spot on a map and add it to the distribution range map (as in Himalayan Quail) ) but this is difficult to add on to. Apparently there are some other options being discussed elsewhere to create maps on the fly. One option is to use image overlays and is being done for city locator maps (see a city article such as Pune. This would be definitely preferable to locations being listed in the article since that can look parochial for an article with a global scope. More later. Shyamal 11:11, 14 November 2006 (UTC)

Oh yes and another option is to create an article called List of butterflies of Pune. Shyamal 11:12, 14 November 2006 (UTC)
