From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Hello and welcome to Wikipedia!
Here are some tips to help you get started:
- If you haven't already, please add your name to the new user log to let others know a little about yourself.
- Read the article describing how to edit a page and feel free to experiment in the Sandbox.
- When editing pages, use the preview button before submitting and try to fill in the summary box for every edit.
- Eventually, read the Manual of Style and Policies and Guidelines.
- If you need help, post a question at the Newcomers' Help Desk or ask me on my talk page.
- Explore, be bold in editing pages, and, most importantly, have fun!
Good luck!
Jrdioko
P.S. One last helpful hint. To sign your posts like I did above (on talk pages, for example) use the '~' symbol. To insert just your name, type ~~~ (3 tildes), or, to insert your name and timestamp, use ~~~~ (4 tildes).

[edit] Redirects
Thanks for the message on my talk. Here's a quote from Wikipedia:Redirect:
Sub-topic redirects are often temporary, eventually being replaced by fully fledged articles on the sub-topic in question. Be conservative when creating sub-topic redirects — they can sometimes be counter-productive, because they disguise the absence of a proper article from editors. Sub-topic redirects should only be used where the main article has a section on the sub-topic. For example, denial of service has a section on distributed denial of service. Sub-topics should be boldfaced on their first appearance in the section, to indicate that they are in fact alternate titles or sub-titles.
That sounds like a perfect way of going about doing things to me. I'd just make sure to move the information on the problem from Unix time to Year 2038 problem (so you don't end up with duplicate information in two places), and link to Year 2038 problem from Unix time in the appropriate place. [edit] John Titor
I thought you'd want to see this edit, given your knowledge of C++ and issues on the talk page of the 2038 problem article.[1] I'm not knowledgeable enough to say whether or not Batkins acted correctly, so I thought I'd let you know. Dave (talk) 21:47, Jun 17, 2005 (UTC)

[edit] request for add to external links for Wormholes
I am not a PhD, but then, many famous scientists were not when they started their research. I request please that you add my website on practical use of wormholes here, on Earth, to the external links. Wormholes need not be just out in space and never here. They are.
Please add link.
Thanks,
