Madeleine Angevine

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Madeleine Angevine is a white wine grape that is grown primarily in England but also has plantings in Kyrgyzstan [1] and Washington State. [2]

Madeleine Angevine is crossed with Silvaner Geilweilerhof to make the Noblessa and Forta grapes. It is crossed with Traminer to make the Comtessa grape. [3]

In Washington State, the grape has developed a cult following for its floral character and easy drinking nature. [4]
