[edit] Childhood
Madeleine was the oldest child to her parents, Maureen and David Allen. She also has a sister, Rebecca Allen, who suffers from obsessive compulsive disorder. Growing up around the world, Madeleine gained an appreciation for the arts and immediately knew she had found her calling within theatre.
[edit] Teenage Years
Splitting her teenage years between Chappaqua, NY and Palo Alto, CA, Madeleine starred in many different productions including The Sound of Music and A Chorus Line. Though she would commonly star in roles as the "seductress" or "slut," Madeleine grew attention from many surrounding townspeople, including men. These roles prepared her for college, where she would go on to become an elite in the world of directing.
[edit] UC San Diego
At the tender age of 18, Madeleine began studying Theatre and Direction under the guidance of Professor Mary Ann McDonald, who has called Madeleine one of her greatest pupils. In her freshman year, she directed the stunning Samuel Beckett's Catastrophe and There's No Winner in a Tie Game. Even with her acting experience, directing those plays heightened her love of directing.
This progressed in her sophomore year where she directed Happy Happy Birthday while working on Clifford Odette's Waiting for Lefty at the same time. She eventually had to take a quarter off of school because of her chronic disease and would need surgery.
[edit] The Future
Madeleine is looking towards taking a quarter in Italy when she looks to reinstate classical values into this currently modern world.
She also looks to meet a man who is both rich and handsome.
