[edit] Incorrectly named image
The image found here is incorrectly named. It is a not a photograph of Madeleines but a photograph of plain cupcakes. Renamed, it would be appropriate in the Cupcake article. I have commented it out from the Madeleine article with embedded explanatory remarks. Athænara ✉ 02:23, 2 December 2006 (UTC)
- In Spain, cupcakes are said "magdalenas" (sg. magdalena) and madeleines aren't easily found and haven't any special name. Perhaps a similar reason made Sandstein (from Switzerland) name this image as "madeleine". I have asked Sandstein via e-mail and we will write something about in the future (I hope). - Whether or not this image should be renamed, Image:Madeleines de Commercy.jpg is a photograph of Madeleines as described and discussed in the Madeleine article. I am sure you both have seen it, I'm just catching up on the specific commentary on this image on its own talk page. I am happy to have learned about magdalenas, and I thank you both for that. — Athænara ✉ 00:04, 15 February 2007 (UTC)
