[edit] Feedback about your radio editing

You did a good job making the List of radio stations in Georgia (U.S. state) page more complete. However, are you SURE that WUWG 91, B92, and Kiss 103 are the only radio stations in Carrollton, Georgia?? Radio stations in a specified United States city are usually common enough that there is at least one station per nearest whole number, and this is only 3 stations in a range from 88 to 108.

Are you interested in what to put in articles for the given radio stations?? If so, go to Talk:List of radio stations in Georgia (U.S. state) and you will see some things to put in. Those labelled as "basic characteristics" are for the list article itself, and those labelled "advanced characteristics" are for the article on the station. 66.245.73.162 21:54, 20 Apr 2004 (UTC)

Great drawing at Image:Eskimo-kinship-chart.png! Keep it up! Very informative. ----Menchi 05:31, 8 May 2004 (UTC)

[edit] Article Licensing

Hi, I've started a drive to get users to multi-license all of their contributions that they've made to either (1) all U.S. state, county, and city articles or (2) all articles, using the Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike (CC-by-sa) v1.0 and v2.0 Licenses or into the public domain if they prefer. The CC-by-sa license is a true free documentation license that is similar to Wikipedia's license, the GFDL, but it allows other projects, such as WikiTravel, to use our articles. Since you are among the top 2000 Wikipedians by edits, I was wondering if you would be willing to multi-license all of your contributions or at minimum those on the geographic articles. Over 90% of people asked have agreed. For More Information:

To allow us to track those users who muli-license their contributions, many users copy and paste the "DualLicenseWithCC-BySA-Dual" template into their user page, but there are other options at Template messages/User namespace. The following examples could also copied and pasted into your user page:

Option 1
I agree to multi-license all my contributions, with the exception of my user pages, as described below:
DualLicenseWithCC-BySA-Dual

OR

Option 2
I agree to multi-license all my contributions to any U.S. state, county, or city article as described below:
DualLicenseWithCC-BySA-Dual

Or if you wanted to place your work into the public domain, you could replace "DualLicenseWithCC-BySA-Dual" with "MultiLicensePD". If you only prefer using the GFDL, I would like to know that too. Please let me know what you think at my talk page. It's important to know either way so no one keeps asking. -- Ram-Man (comment| talk)

I am new at Wikipedia, and I would appreciate your help. I began writing a page on medieval weaponry, but its getting complicated and I need someone to help make some calls. I do not know how to use the Wiki formats, (bullets etc.) so I made an outline.

swords

  scimitars
  broadsword
     european broadsword
     chinese dao
  dueling sword/shortsword
     arming sword
     rapier
     off-hand weapons
        buckler
        dagger
     smallsword
  two handed
     great sword
  backsword
     mortuary sword
     sabre
     certain falchions
     scramasax
  other
     shining sword
     gladius
     spatha
     katana
     falchion

maces battle axes

  one hand
     pole axe
     short axe
  two hand
     yard long haft (handle) axe

lances bows

  longbows
  warbows
  crossbows

catapult battering ram trebuchet ballista daggers (mentioned earlier, might not need this) torture weapons other

  African throwing knife
  tiger claw
  wrist knife

early guns cannons

Since you are participating in the Wiki Weapons projects, I was hoping you could help me, maybe wikify it, check my information or point out mistakes. I got my information mostly from http://home.comcast.net/~sylvanarrow/ which is just a disorganized listing of medieval weaponry anyway. I would appreciate if you helped me. I don't why the outline looks so messed up, but I don't know how to fix it either.

[edit] Re: Officer Candidate School

I agree, after thinking about it, that the TRADOC template would be more appropreate on a seperate Officer_Candidates_School_(U.S._Army) page. Thank you for your edit. — Linnwood 14:22, 12 May 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Utilitarianism

Hello. I found your profile on Wikipedia:WikiProject_Philosophy|WikiProject Philosophy]]. I'm looking for more perspectives to help resolve a debate in the Utilitarianism article on the difference between the "Happiness" and the "Good". If you have any comments on the subject, please feel free to share them on the article's talk page. Thanks! --Malathion 8 July 2005 04:36 (UTC)

[edit] Lewis H. Morgan

In your kinship articles you have "Louis Henry Morgan" instead of "Lewis Henry Morgan", I've put a redirect to the main article, but you might want to insert the correct wikilink in your articles and then have the redirect deleted. DelftUser 13:41, 2005 July 11 (UTC)

[edit] Proposed Georgia Move

As a past participant in the discussion on how to handle the Georgia pages, I thought you might be interested to know that there's a new attempt to reach consensus on the matter being addressed at Talk:Georgia (country)#Requested_Move_-_July_2006. Please come by and share your thoughts to help form a consensus. --Vengeful Cynic 03:48, 8 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] image mess

this edit by you has resulted in the previously used image being put up on IFD as an orphan, and a duplicate image being uploaded. I suggest you talk to some of the people going around doing all this image deleting and explain what you were trying to accomplish. I've reverted the edit to the original image, which is properly licensed. ... aa:talk 23:15, 7 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Graphics Lab

I saw your name listed on Wikiproject Illustration or the list of graphic artists, and I thought I'd let you know that a Graphics Lab has been created on EN. Based on the highly successful French and German graphics labs, it seeks to better organise and coordinate our graphic design and photo-editing efforts. Up until now, there has been no common space on EN where users could ask for maps, charts and other SVG files to be created. What's more, the Graphics Lab has discussion boards, tips, tools and links; in sum, a good common workspace. Come help us out! The infrastucture is already in place, and now we need participants. :) --Zantastik talk 00:39, 12 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Untagged image

An image you uploaded, Image:PhiSigmaTauKey.png, was tagged with the coatofarms copyright tag. This tag was deleted because it does not actually specify the copyright status of the image. The image may need a more accurate copyright tag, or it may need to be deleted. If the image portrays a seal or emblem, it should be tagged as seal. If you have any questions, ask them at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. -- 19:09, 30 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Possibly unfree Image:Benelli_m4_1.jpg

An image that you uploaded or altered, Image:Benelli_m4_1.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Possibly unfree images because its copyright status is disputed. If the image's copyright status cannot be verified, it may be deleted. Please go to its page for more information if you are interested in it not being deleted.
