From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

During my brief but instructive separation from the project last weekend I had time to think about my approach to the project. It struck me that one of my problems was that my "morning routine" was defective. Naturally I would glance at my watchlist, and my talk page, and maybe a few open matters, but that was about it. The result, naturally, is an idiosyncratic mode of engagement. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it does mean that I'm not as involved in community matters as I ought.

The other concern is that Benjamin Disraeli, 1st Earl of Beaconsfield isn't getting enough attention. It's high-time I got him up to featured status where he belongs.

Therefore, I've devised a morning routine:

  1. Wikipedia:Requests for adminship - the future custodians of the encyclopedia. No need to vote on every candidacy, but I ought to know who's running.
  2. WP:AN & WP:AN/I - see what's changed since last night, and if there's anything that might be better discussed elsewhere.
  3. Benjamin Disraeli, 1st Earl of Beaconsfield - add a sourced fact.
  4. Wikipedia:Cleanup - the backlog here is tremendous - see if there's something within my areas of knowledge.
