The following is a list of the Spanish/Argentine names for various places in the Falklands/Malvinas. Many of them are quite different in origin to their English equivalents, and only a handful of Spanish language names remain in the islands. Many of the Spanish names have religious resonances.
Please note that these names are almost never used by residents of the islands themselves, and some of them, such as "Puerto Argentino" may be considered offensive by them. The use of English names is likewise offensive to Argentines
