American designer and manufacturer of professional audio equipment. Known for affordable yet durable products, Mackie is not considered top-shelf. But for many sound reinforcement companies and smaller studios, Mackie fits the bill.

Mackie manufactures: Analog audio mixers, some with digital capability some completely digital (a burgeoning market), Speakers for live sound reinforcement, Power Amplifiers for live sound reinforcement, Near-field monitors for mixing and mastering work, Specialized control surfaces for computer audio work.

"Mackie's smooth 100mm faders and precise EQ bay give Mackie Mixers the signature feel that distinguishes Mackie from other mixer manufacturers." Does that sound like the marketing brochure or what.
