Macwise

MacWise is a terminal emulation program for Macintosh computers. It was written by Rich Love - Carnation Software.

MacWise emulates ADDS Viewpoint, Wyse 50, Wyse 60, Wyse 370, Televideo TV 925, DEC VT100, VT220 and Prism terminals. Supports ANSI and SCO ANSI color. Esprit III color is also supported in Wyse 370 mode.

It was originally created by Rich Love in 1989 as MacToPic. The name changed to MacWise in 1996. MacToPic was originally created as a Microdata Prism Terminal emulator and PICK file transfer program. More terminal emulations and functions were added in the coming years and the name was changed to MacWise.

MacWise was a Mac OS 9 program when released in 1996. It was later converted to a native OS X application. The current version can be found at macwise.com
