Mackay Memorial Hospital, established on December 26 1912, was founded in memory of the Revd Dr George Leslie Mackay DD., the first modern missionary to northern Taiwan. The hospital is deeply rooted in the Presbyterian cause and is under the spiritual guidance of the Taiwanese Presbyterian Church. Currently, the hospital administration is preparing for the launch of the new Mackay Memorial Medical College.
