Machias River

Machias is the name of two rivers in Maine. The longer of the two flows through Washington County in the southeastern part of the state passing the town of Machias and emptying into Machias Bay. The shorter river is a major tributary of the Aroostook River flowing through Aroostook County in the northern part of the state.
