macam is a USB webcam driver for Mac OS X. It is Free Software, licensed under the GPL and supports a wide variety of webcams. It can be used as a stand-alone application for recording video from a webcam, or as a driver to allow other applications (such as QuickTime and aMSN) to access the camera. The latest version is 0.9.0.
