MacArthur Junior High School is a learning establishment located in Prospect Heights, Illinois, on the border of Arlington Heights. Enrollment is approximately 600. MacArthur was named after General Douglas MacArthur who served as commander in chief in the Korean War.

The school's band, led by Mr. Dave Thomas, has won honors in the Music in the Parks Contest in Viking Middle School and the Chicagoland Music Festival in Hersey High School.
