- This is not a photo of MacArthur landing in Leyte, it's a photo of MacArthur landing in Lingayen in Luzon. This photo was originally taken by Carl Mydans, a correspondent for LIFE Magazine on January, 1945 when MacArthur and his forces landed in Lingayen. --Harvzsf 17:37, 23 September 2006 (UTC)
