[edit] Images

When uploading images please always edit the image description page and do two things:

 1. State the source of the image (created yourself, the address of a web page or another source.)
 2. State the copyright. The easiest way to list the copyright is to use a copyright tag. The most important tags are GFDL, PD, and fairuse. GFDL is for images that you create yourself. PD is for public domain images (pre-1923 in most cases). Fair use is for copyrighted images that we can use under the fair use rules in the USA.

Without proper source and copyright information, images will eventually be deleted!

If you don't know what any of this means, just let me know where you got the images (on my talk page) and I'll tag them for you. Thanks so much. Zeimusu | Talk 14:50, 18 Feb 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Stop your spam

Stop trying to get people to keep your worthless article, or I may have to block you. Denelson83 20:54, 24 January 2006 (UTC)

exscuse me but also Muriel has done this trying to get people to delete this article important for a monarchic branch. This is democratic encyclopedia and so this page has right to stay here : Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Rosario Poidimani (3 nomination). Regards, M.deSousa 24 January 2006 (UTC)

This is your last warning. The next time you vandalize a page, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. -- Denelson83 21:14, 24 January 2006 (UTC)

I don't appreciate being spammed with your request for a vote. If the article had not already been deleted when I got there, I would have deleted it as a recreation. User:Zoe|(talk) 22:32, 24 January 2006 (UTC)

Here's a thought, "M"... how about you NOT SPAM TALK PAGES THAT HAVE A BIG NOTICE ASKING YOU NOT TO SPAM THE TALK PAGE? --Dante Alighieri | Talk 00:20, 25 January 2006 (UTC)

I would have voted delete if the article had not been speedied, as the article has been deleted before, and justifiably so. So would many people - your attempt to drum up support by spamming would be highly counterproductive. Average Earthman 10:22, 25 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Blocked

Hi, because you are mass-soliciting people to vote on an AFD nomination, I have blocked you for 24 hours. Please don't do this, it is not productive. Thanks, Talrias (t | e | c) 00:21, 25 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Your note...

I am sorry, M.deSousa. I do not know enough to be able to comment on your situation. I was only passing by and saw the name. I wish I could help you, but honestly do not feel comfortable enough in the subject matter to make a fair decision. Again, sorry. --LV (Dark Mark) 14:48, 26 January 2006 (UTC)

Also, if you think the Rosario article was deleted wrongly, you can make your case at the deletion review page. Hope this helps some. --LV (Dark Mark) 14:52, 26 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Your recent edits and mentions

I don't enjoy at all your comments regarding my rv of your rv. I have been trying to respect (maybe more than they deserve of point of view), which virtualy nobody shares. What you cannot do is cheat be recretaeing artoicles duly deleted, erasing factual mentions (just to name one -- D Duarte is, wheter you like it or not, descendant of both D Miguel and D Pedro) and isnisting in puting your (narrowly ... just you) minority viws as being accepted facts in an encyclopedia. --BBird 13:46, 27 January 2006 (UTC)

BBird, Rosario is considered a pretender and not a fake pretender. I can understand if you don't consider Rosario as Duke of Braganza because you consider Duarte Pio the Duke of Braganza but Rosario is a claimant to Portuguese Crown and so you can't insert him name as a fake pretender. You can see this page that consider him pretender: 1 - 2 - 3 - page of international newspapers 4 and many others sites. So please stop with this your nosense added in "pretender" wikipage.

Bout the name of Maria Pia In the wiki article Maria Pia of Saxe Coburg Braganza, aka Hilda Toledano, is mentioned because she was daughter of the king Charles of Portugal and she was considered a pretender to Portuguese Crown. When she claimed this dynastic rights her name was Maria Pia Saxe Coburg Braganza. This name is riported in her baptizimal certification and also in all her STATE OFFICIAL CERTIFICATIONS5,6. In her youth she assumed the name Hilda Toledano, a pseudonym in a dictatorial salazarist period in Portugal because she was pursued in this dictatorial period but she fighted Salazar for the return of democracy in Portugal. So for politic reason she assumed the name Hilda Toledano. With this name she was also a writer and she wrote many books. The names and the story of this books you can find in this site, wrote by an important french hystoric *Maria Pia: The Pretender, part I; part II; part III: part IV; part V. Now her oppositors, the miguelist supporters, want hide the presence of her rights and mystify her story. Can you help me to give again the title "Maria Pia of Saxe Coburg Braganza" in her wiki page and change the name Hilda Toledano. The miguelist supporters(supporters of other portuguese pretender), in particular with a user Muriel@pt, have delete also the Rosario Poidimani page. Muriel has asked other her wiki-fiends to vote to delete this page. I think this people know nothing about Maria Pia but only for friendship with Muriel they have voted! Is this possible?? This is votation not democratic and so have no value. The name of Maria Pia you can find in this offiacial document that you can find above...but where I can find this woman was named Hilda Toledano??? No exist documents with this name. In this page we talk about her claim and she used the name Maria Pia of Saxe Coburg Braganza for this claim and no Hilda Toledano that was only a pseudonym. So please don't change her baptzimal and official nameM.deSousa 27 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Claimants of the Duchy of Braganza

Hi,excuse me why you delete this page?? This is a impartial article and after two day you delete this page.M.deSousa 26 January 2006 (UTC)

liar liar pants on fire.
It as because Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Claimants of the Duchy of Braganza notice it was put up for deletion the 18th by pgk and I removed it the 23th, 5 days afterwards. So please refrain in the succesive from issuing your false statements about me.

[edit] Your request...

I have sent you the article via email. I do not know if there is an online copy somewhere. See you around. --LV (Dark Mark) 20:18, 31 January 2006 (UTC)

Well, I sent it to the mail that was set up in your Wikipedia account. I clicked "E-mail this user" over at the left-hand side of the screen and sent it that way. I don't think I can re-send it. You are going to have to get it from that email address. If you can't you are going to have to wait a while for me to be able to re-send it. Sorry. --LV (Dark Mark) 14:33, 1 February 2006 (UTC)
I sent it to you again. Sorry I can't help more. --LV (Dark Mark) 17:48, 1 February 2006 (UTC)
I sent it to the email that you have in your preferences. Did you change your preferences to include your new email address??? --LV (Dark Mark) 19:50, 1 February 2006 (UTC)
I sent it. I've sent it about four times now. If you can't set up your email, I can't get it to you correctly. Thanks. --LV (Dark Mark) 13:48, 3 February 2006 (UTC)

Number of blocks - information for Admins

This user has received at least three final warnings and has been blocked four times. Their most recent block was for one week. Other information: De Sousa has been seeking to use Wikipedia to push the widely disputed claims that a particular woman was the illegitimate daughter of a Portuguese king and therefore that this woman was the 'real' pretender to Portugal's throne. Various users have spent over one year trying to stop Wikipedia being used to push the political agenda of a self-proclaimed pretender. DeSousa's contributions to Wikipedia over one year are almost exclusively on this topic. When blocked, deSousa frequently resorts to IPs to keep pushing the agenda. Though other than independent research deSousa has been unable to verify the claims, and no other users have been supportive of the 'claim', deSousa has continued to use Wikipedia's open-edit policies to push this agenda, coming back when banned to start the exact same editing again.

If setting a new block, when deciding on length please take into account the above statistics.

To the user: This template is for management of blocks. Do not remove it. Its removal may be seen as vandalism and lead to the imposition of a longer block.

You have been blocked from editing Wikipedia for repeated vandalism. If or when the block expires, please refrain from vandalizing or this account will face longer blocks, and action could be taken against the individual who uses it. Roy A.A. 18:15, 6 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Maria Pia of Braganza

Dear Mr de Sousa,

Thank you for your comments (and corrections) about my edits to this page. I am not a supporter of this lady, but I do think that we should have an encyclopedia article rather than a page promoting her or Dom Duarte Pio.

I understand your concern about her inclusion in the Category:Impostor pretenders. I personally do not feel strongly enough one way or the other to make a change. Noel S McFerran 13:41, 2 August 2006 (UTC)
