M. J. Kang

M.J. Kang is a playwright and actress born in Seoul, Korea, but later immigrated to Toronto, Canada.

Her plays include Noran Bang: The Yellow Room (Dora Award nomination for Outstanding New Play 1998), Blessings and dreams of blonde & blue.

She performed in the Off-Broadway hit, Private Jokes, Public Places in New York, Los Angeles, London, and Toronto, and will reprise the same role (which was written for her) at The Aurora Theatre in Berkeley, California, in April, 2007.

She is married to Oren Safdie.
