M-222 is the current designation of a state trunkline route in the Lower Peninsula of Michigan near Allegan that was formerly signed as M-118. In 1998, it was resigned in favor of the M-222 designation in an effort to prevent confusion as it was also called 116th street, while 118th street was just one mile north.[1]
