M-188 is a trunkline spur and state highway in Michigan. Although designated as an east-west highway, it is nearly a diagonal northwest-southeast route. It has its western terminus in Eaton Rapids and its eastern terminus at the VFW National Home southeast of Eaton Rapids.
M-188 was designated in order to provide highway access to the VFW National Home from Eaton Rapids in southeast Eaton County. The entire length of the road is two lane road, which makes many turns due to the Grand River running along much of the road. The terminus of M-188 is at the VFW National Home, which lies on the portion of M-188 along Waverly Rd on the Eaton County/Ingham County border.
