"Lyudi Invalidy" (Cyrillic: "Люди-инвалиды"; Translated: "Invalid People") was the first single from t.A.T.u.'s second album Lyudi Invalidy.
Lyudi Invalidy was only released in Russia. The single was released on two versions as promo singles. The song was responding well on Russian radio and charts, however the song "Obez'yanka Nol'" was getting more of a response on MUZ chats. A few weeks after the release of this single, "All About Us" was sent to radio stations and became a huge hit, surpassing "Lyudi Invalidy." Sergei Pimenov of PPK did several of the remixes for the promo singles.

[edit] Making of the song
The song was originally produced in 2003/2004 during Podnebesnaya by Ivan Shapovalov. There is a demo available of the song, sometimes titled "Lyudi Invalidy (AutoTune Demo)". Although it does not sound like t.A.T.u., it actually is. The vocals were lowered 3/4, and then run through auto-tune.
The song was then taken over from Podnebesnaya to the album Lyudi Invalidy, using the same lyrics but changing the music. The only real difference is in the demo, before the first verse "Bez Lyubvi" is repeated several times. This may have some indication as to t.A.T.u.'s explanation of the song, meaning people who are incapable of love.

[edit] Music Video
The video starts with t.A.T.u. walking through a club that shows many of the 'lifeless immorality' that the song is about. Much of the 'invalid people' are homosexuals, or other sexually immoral people, rather than those who are unable to emote for others as what t.A.T.u have described the song's meaning to be.
The video was directed by James Cox, and it was shot in an alley in Los Angeles. The homeless living in the alley were asked to leave for the filming, and the street had to be highly chlorinated because of the smell of urine. After the side street smelled more or less satisfactory, another difficulty emerged: part of the crew appeared to be very sensitive to chlorine and had to wear respirators till the end of the shooting.
On the DVD of The Best, parts of the making of this video are shown, but played off as being the making of "All About Us".
