Lyskovo

Lyskovo (Russian: Лысково) is a town in Nizhny Novgorod Oblast, Russia, located on the Volga River, opposite the mouth of the Kerzhenets River, on the shores of Cheboksary Reservoir, 90 km south-east of Nizhny Novgorod. It is the administrative center of Lyskovsky District. Population: 23,901 (2002 Census); 25,029 (1989 Census).
The settlement of Lyskovo was first mentioned in 1410. It received town status in 1925.
