Lynne Dawson

Lynne Dawson is an English soprano who was born at York in 1956. After school she studied French literature and language and first became an interpreter. During her work Dawson picked up her vocal study and quickly joined the HILLIARD ENSEMBLE. From the very beginning of her vocal carrier she mostly sang works of George Frederick Handel but also Mozart (Konstanze, Pamina, Zaide, Donna Elvira), Rossini (Amenaide), Richard Strauss (Zdenka) and others.
