Lynne & Tessa
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Lynne & Tessa are a duo of girls from Frankfurt, Germany who have released internet videos of themselves lip-syncing to famous pop songs. Lynne (born January 1986) is the shorter of the two, with light brown hair and rounder facial features. Tessa (born December 6, 1986) has dark, brown hair and is more slender. On the videos, Tessa and Lynne perform crazy antics with a comedic touch. Their use of on-screen space in front of a fixed camera displays an instinctive yet fairly well-developed understanding of how to render dynamic a static frame. They have been featured on several German television channels, including RTL, Sat.1 and Pro 7. Their videos have been met with great popularity and viewed more than 6 million times by people around the world, and some fans now dedicate tribute or remake videos to the pair. Lynne and Tessa won the Google Idol/ Pop Webcam Competition 3. One of their videos,[1] based on Aqua's 1997 hit Barbie Girl, is consistently ranked in Google Video's Top 100.[2]
