Lydia is a five piece indie rock group formed in Gilbert, Arizona in 2003. They are on HourZero Records.

The band won a nationwide talent search by Atticus Clothing, for a slot on the "Dragging The Lake: Volume 3" compilation. The album featured artists such as Fall Out Boy, Motion City Soundtrack and MxPx. Shortly after, they found themselves on tour with Coheed and Cambria, Alien Ant Farm, and Sum 41 on the "Zumiez Couch Tour". They also participated in the 2006 Vans Warped Tour.
They recently released a demo song on their MySpace called "Your Taste Is My Attention". This was their first recorded song since Mindy White replaced Maria Sais De Sicilia.
They were also included in the '100 Bands You Need To Know In 2006' in the April 2006 edition of Alternative Press magazine.

According to Absolutepunk.net Lydia has begun writing and demoing material for their next release. They have also posted a new tour video on their MySpace page
The band is also without a female singer after Mindy White left the band for personal reasons last November[1].
They will soon be going on a short tour with The Spill Canvas in late February. They will also be involved in both two days of The Bamboozle festival located in New Jersey in May.
Currently Lydia has been forced to end their tour with The Spill Canvas after their lead singer Leighton collapsed on stage and was taken to a nearby hospital. He had suffered internal bleeding from 3 ulcers inside his stomach and esophagus damage. He has since been released from the hospital and is now recovering at home in Arizona.
