The L'vov family Crest (see also L'vov town crest). The crest includes the Archangel Michael holding a sword in the top left and bottom right quadrants; this signifies the families Rurikid ancestry. The top right and bottom left quadrants show a bird of paradise standing on a cannon and the central shield shows a bear carrying an axe. The ermine background and the crown at the top signify the princely rank of the family.
