[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:Eragon Teaser Poster 6.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:Eragon Teaser Poster 6.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that the image is unlicensed for use on Wikipedia and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. - Tutmosis 01:09, 14 November 2006 (UTC)

This image is in use in two articles, as it was when you added the orphaned template... I removed the template as it is not needed. Lutherjw 23:31, 15 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Eragon.png
Thanks for uploading Image:Eragon.png. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).
The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}
. If you have not already done so, please also include the source of the image. In many cases this will be the website where you found it.
Please specify the copyright information and source on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me, or ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. - Tutmosis 01:09, 14 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Images for Eragon (film)
Hi noticed you uploaded most if not all images to Eragon (film) article. I have removed the images from the article because I feel they were uploaded and used improperly, more specificly they failed Fair use criteria #8: "The material must contribute significantly to the article (e.g. identify the subject of an article, or specifically illustrate relevant points or sections within the text) and must not serve a purely decorative purpose.". I have dropped a note on the article talk page about my changes and the images are going to be deleted soon since they are now orphanded. Please note that I mean nothing personal in this and that I am only trying to follow wikipedian policy. I would recommend you too read Wikipedia:Fair use before you upload any more images. Thank you. - Tutmosis 00:05, 14 November 2006 (UTC)
I also added a note to the talk page of Eragon (film). Lutherjw 02:29, 14 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Fanmail.biz (AfD discussion)
Hi! Just letting you know that I tagged Fanmail.biz for speedy deletion because it doesn't appear to meet the notability guidelines and reading it, it looks like it runs afoul of WP:COI. If you'd like to contest that, please go ahead and place the {{hangon}} tag on the page. If you have any questions, feel free to leave a message on my talk page. - (from User talk:Quarl) Thanks for your support with this article. If you don't mind, could I format your posting to flow with the rest of the page? I wouldn't change the text of your post, just the format slightly. Thanks again, Lutherjw 21:34, 15 December 2006 (UTC)
