Lupe Rodriguez is an artist, educator and art commentator on radio. Her formal art training began at York University in Toronto, Canada where she studied fine art. Following her time at York she would continue her studies at the Sorbonne in Paris, France. Her work draws from a variety of sources but mainly from her journeys and her Spanish/Canadian roots. As an artist she has travelled extensively exhibiting her work both across Canada and abroad. Her work can be found in many major collections throughout Canada including the Robert McLauglin Gallery, Canada Life, and the University of Toronto, among others. She currently lives and works in Toronto, Canada.
