Lungmen Nuclear Power Plant
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Lungmen Nuclear Power Plant is Taiwan's fourth nuclear power plant, consisting of two ABWRs each of 1350MWe. As of 2007, Unit 1 was expected to come online in July 2009, with Unit 2 following in July 2010.
Construction of the plant began in 1997, but has been delayed by political controversy. In 2000, a decision to halt construction was a factor in the resignation of premier Tang Fei.
