Lunatics without Skateboards Inc.

Lunatics without Skateboards Inc. (Commonly abbreviated as L.W.S. Inc.) was a speed / thrash metal band from the Netherlands. The band name was a statement against Anthrax' skateboarding image.[1]
The band was founded in 1988 by Van Zadelhoff and Frijn as LWS and released a demo a year later. The demo was called Death and Die Demo, because in every song at least one time the word "death" or "die" appeared[1]. They changed their name to L.W.S. Inc. because of a German band used the name LWS[1].
They filled in many support slots during the Dutch dates of well known acts such as Celtic Frost, and Holy Moses. In 1989, their debut album was released containing ten tracks of fast mix of thrash metal and speed metal. This album got frequent airplay on the Dutch radio in the metal show Vara's Vuurwerk and was features in the Vuurwerk 50 a list of metal songs chosen by the show's listeners.
In support of the album, they toured a lot through the Benelux[1]. A new demo titled The Second Coming was recorded after Manfred left the band. However, due to various reasons the band split up shortly afterwards.
In 1995 (or 1996) Frijn restarted the band with other members and released second album Reality which was barely noticed. They then dissolved the band again shortly after the release.
In 2006 the Welcome to the Asylum album was re-issued by Rusty Cage Records and includes the Death and Die demo. The band has planned to do a one-time reunion gig during the Rusty Cage One Year Anniversary show.
