Luna 1970B

Luna 1970B was an attempted lunar orbiter. The exact design of the spacecraft is not known, but may have been similar to the later Luna 19 and Luna 22 orbiters. It was launched on February 19, 1970. The mission was a failure. The launcher failed to reach Earth orbit and crashed into the Pacific Ocean.
