I could be wrong, I'd have to check the game, but I believe the plural form would be Luminoth, not Luminoths. I'm pretty sure that like Chozo it's inherrently collective.

The term cycle is not exclusive to the Luminoth. It is a general sci-fi trem, meaning the time it takes for a planet to go around its sun.

[edit] Mosquito, NOT Moth

In an interview, the creator of the game said the Luminoth are a "mosquito-like race," and did NOT say "moth." Whoever is changing that, please stop as it is incorrect. Just by looking at a picture of one is this further proven. --Zenosaga 23:44, 26 March 2007 (UTC)
