Lumpen Proletariat is the name of a 1990's punk rock band from the Ottawa, Ontario region of Canada.

The lead singer was an energetic albino who went by the name "Garth".

Their popular 7" was titled "Wreck Shit" and is now considered a punk rock collectors item.

They played several shows at the Saw Gallery located behind the Rideau Centre.
