Luminiţa Gheorghiu

Luminiţa Gheorghiu (born September 1, 1949) is an actress at Teatrul Bulandra in Bucharest, Romania one of the most respected theater actresses in East Central Europe. She has also appeared in a number of films, mostly in Romanian, but also in French.

Gheorghiu is a 1972 graduate of the Institute of Theatrical and Cinematographic Arts, where she studied under professor Ion Cojar.
