I'm Riana, and I noticed that you're new, so I thought I'd drop you a note. We do have a lot of users, and are currently working on 1,719,681 articles, so things can be a little intimidating... but don't worry! We love to help out, and we'll try our best to make your stay here as comfortable as possible.
Here are a few links I found useful when I first arrived here:-

You should sign your name on talk pages, discussions and votes by typing ~~~~; our software automatically converts it to your username and the date. Also, if you don't want to jump right into editing articles right now, why not check out the sandbox? Feel free to make test edits there.

I know it's a lot of information, but there are two more things I recommend you take note of while editing Wikipedia - cite references wherever possible, and avoid allowing personal biases interfere with your editing.

I hope you enjoy editing and being a Wikipedian - I definitely do. Although we all make mistakes, please keep in mind what Wikipedia is not. If you have any questions or problems, leave me a message on my talk page, and I'll try my best to help. Otherwise, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on your user page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions.

I've nominated Flipshu, an article you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but in this particular case I do not feel that Flipshu satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion; I have explained why in the nomination space (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and the Wikipedia deletion policy). I am disputing the nomination of the speedy deletion tag you placed on the article under the Wikipedia deletion policy, as I see the article as having problems with a neutral point of view, and that the article is salvagable in the meantime as a stub. ThePointblank 22:18, 3 February 2007 (UTC)

You have marked one of my user abuser reports for speedy deletion claiming non-encyclopedic content. What am I missing here? Please explain. Cheers. --Bandalho 23:06, 6 February 2007 (UTC)

It has been marked for deletion because it is not encyclopedic content, seeing as it does not assert the signifigance of the subject, and also is non-notable (yielding 0 hits on google). Luksuh 02:15, 7 February 2007 (UTC)

Why did you make a new category named Computer Games? There is already a category Computer and video games so what you just created is useless and should be deleted. ---Majestic- 23:12, 8 February 2007 (UTC)

WikiProject MMO Quarterly is a quarterly newsletter posted on the first of January, April, July, and October. The newsletter is written by any and all interested members of WikiProject Massively multiplayer online games for members of the project and interested Wikipedians outside of the project.

Role call
We ask that within a month, all members sign our role call to show that they are still active participants in the project. More information is available on the role call page.
Major news
WikiProject RuneScape, our former child project, was moved to become a task force of this project in January as it had a small scope but the task force is still going strong to this very day.

This past quarter marks the beginning of our new collaboration system MMOGCM. Past collaborations thus far have been World of Warcraft and MMORPG, both of which made it to GA status while it was the MMOGCM.

As well, we now have an Outreach Department which works on this newsletter as well as spreads the word of our project.

WikiProject MMO is also now a participant in the Work via WikiProjects division of Wikipedia 1.0 and as such, we will be helping decide which are the best (based on quality and importance) articles within our scope. Project members can discuss which articles are to be included here.
News from the RuneScape Task Force
We are currently trying to improve this task force so that we can edit all RuneScape-related articles in an organized manner. To do that we started a massive overhaul which we invite all task force members to participate in.

We have also gotten our main article, RuneScape to good article status this quarter. All this, and the task force was only created in January.
