The man, the man the man was just in another world. From Raglan Road to Song for Ireland he could make the most hardened man break. Christ, he had a great, great gift. He was the Dubliners, he was Luke Kelly- a man who became the marker for all the rest.

Indeed,the man had such a passion channelled into his voice that listening to rocky road to dublin and scorn not his simplicity gives me goosebumps every time i hear it.

Did he ever sing in the Irish?

Along with the Wikipedia entry on Christy Moore, this needs serious attention. While most of the main points about Luke's life are covered here there simply isn't enough detail about his songs, politics and life in general. A massive, massive figure in folk music of the world.
