I was wondering if anyone knew of a connection between Luke Helder and Bobby Sands. Currently it is implied by this sentence, "He was born on May 5, 1981, the day when convicted IRA terrorist Bobby Sands died on hunger strike in prison." Did Helder cite Sands as an influence or is this just a coincidence, in which case I think it should be removed. Benjamin Goldenberg 04:18, 25 Jun 2004 (UTC)

Hathor: I'll see what I can dig up on this. I'd like to add some of Helders writings here - would that be out of line? I feel that his "Life on Earth" essay would be appropriate to quote, as it shows in his own words, his philosophy which inspired his actions.

Is there any information about the lethality of Helder's bombings? My understanding was that he was bombing mailboxes and that there were few, if any, injuries; could someone confirm that and put it in the article?

entire Bobby Sands reference, especially the t-word is incredibly POV Kfort 08:12, 26 September 2005 (UTC)

I removed the Bobby Sands trivia connection. I am citing the (very silly) revert war on whether Charles Darwin and Abraham Lincoln shared a birthday as precedent [1]. Majts 23:05, 8 October 2005 (UTC)

coincidental is a better word
