Lukoyanov

Lukoyanov (Russian: Лукоя́нов) is a town in Nizhny Novgorod Oblast, Russia, located on the Tyosha River, 173 km south of Nizhny Novgorod. Population: 12,856 (2002 Census); 12,276 (1989 Census).
It was established in the 16th century and was granted town status in 1779.
