Luke was a character in the long-running BBC Drama Casualty who was an ex-footballer who became a paramedic following a serious leg injury. He was previously married to Rebecca "Bex" Reynolds.
He made an immediate impression by performing a life saving procedure in his first shift. Another memorable moment was when he had sex with Lara in the car park and caught on CCTV.
His most memorable was being heavily involved when Pete raped Bex. He supported Bex throughout the trial despite holding a relationship with Pete's sister Claire.
The relationship was short lived after Claire confessed to what Pete told her and he kicked her out of his house but eventually convinced her to tell the court, but when she didn't he broke off the relationship once again.
After Petes death at the hands of Bex, he lied to the police and convinced Charlie to lie for Bex too. He helped Bex escape abroad but Claire found the CCTV tape Luke was hiding of Pete's death and blamed Luke for it. She plunged into a river along with Luke and Charlie attempting to take their lives as well as her own. Luke did try and get her out but she just tried to strangle him so he kicked her away and took an unconscious Charlie with him. Claire eventually drowned despite being rescued by frogmen.
He also helped a young boy from Sierra Leone called Sol after spotting his talent in football, but after his protection almost cost himself and Comfort their lives, he resigned for a new life in Sierra Leone training Sol and his mates.
Luke Warren was played by Matthew Wait.
