Luke Pomersbach

Luke Pomersbach (Born September 28, 1984) player number 36 is a Western Australian cricketer. He is an attacking left handed batsmen and part-time right arm off-break bowler and represents the Gosnells Cricket club.
He made his Ford Ranger Cup debut for Western Australia in their match against New South Wales, were he made an impressive 39, batting with Adam Voges to try and get the Warriors home. The 'Pommy basher' appropriately scored 101 not out against England in their tour match at the WACA on 9th December 2006.
In December 2006 he made his First-class cricket debut against Tasmania in a Pura Cup match at Bellerive Oval in Hobart. He performed very well scoring 74 in the first innings, partnering Chris Rogers in a 106 run 5th wicket partnership. He continued his good form into the second innings when he came to the wicket with WA in trouble at 4/36. With a mix of aggressive strokeplay and careful defending he helped to save WA, scoring 63 runs, leaving his teammates only 32 more runs to win.
Lets not forget about the terrific work he did, 145 from 128 balls for the Western Australian Second XI against the touring South Africans in December 2005.
Compiled the highest runs aggregate in the WACA District League last season when he smashed 775 runs at 48.44 playing for Gosnells, a sterling achievement that resulted in the 21 year old making both his Cricket Australia Cup and Warriors Twenty20 debut.
