[edit] I still use wikimoney occasionally

Ingoolemo talk 06:50, 2005 September 6 (UTC) i get money from you now?

I use WikiMoney too, transferred ψ1 to my account --Wulf 04:45, 14 September 2005 (UTC)

So do I. I'll transfer it. Thelb4! | Talk to me 19:43, 21 September 2005 (UTC)

I still use wikimoney, and I feel like I'm the wikimoney police at times ensuring proper edits. I check the wikimoney article for things I can do, but it usually isn't much. Is that worth a wiki? McKay 07:20, 22 September 2005 (UTC)

Yup, I just used the page ψ1 please Bridesmill 17:48, 31 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Lyrics

Please explain why you systematically removed lyrics from three articles I wrote without sufficient explanation as to why. You also didn't leave me a talk page note, which it would have been courteous to do, had you noticed a pattern. I'm rather disappointed that, having interacted with you, you still facelessly and mechanically reverted without any kind of proper reasoning. Awaiting a response. Rob Church Talk | Desk 22:16, 18 September 2005 (UTC)

Got you. Although, it wasn't the removal I took issue with; as we've interacted, I would have appreciated a quick reminder note. Thanks anyway. Rob Church Talk | Desk 02:16, 19 September 2005 (UTC)

Im concerned about this user because I dont think he understands what wikipedia is. He has yet to make an edit outside of a talk page and types in monospace and all caps. JobE6 Image:Peru flag large.png 21:17, 25 September 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Copyright Violations

Hi, I noticed you made one of my orginal articles a copyright violation, Decimal odds. If you want me to verify, email me at (matt at free-bets-guide.com). Its a 100% original article.

Also while trying to do as it says to remove the copyright notice, it says to: If you hold the copyright to this material, or if you have permission to use this material under the terms of our license, please indicate so on this page's talk page and under the article's listing on Wikipedia:Copyright problems.

And at the top it says: If you have just labeled this page as a possible copyright infringement, please add a link to it on Wikipedia:Copyright problems/2005 September 29. But I can't find where you have added to the copyright problems page so I can say that it's my article.

If I was trying to just be lazy and find a prewritten article, I wouldn't have put the url in the references section. I wrote the article for my website, and I noticed wiki was missing the article, so I added it. 80.229.234.135 19:02, 29 September 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Arbitration subpage

Hi. Each of the current candidates in the Arbitration Committee election now has a subpage for people to ask questions and have a discussion with the candidate. It's linked to below your statement on the candidate statements page. Hopefully, this format will be more productive and less disruptive than the "endorsements/disendorsements" approach that caused so many problems last year.

I took the liberty of copying your candidate statement unaltered to your subpage. Feel free to elaborate on it at whatever length you wish, without the concern of space restrictions as on the main candidate page. I encourage you to put your subpage on your watchlist and discuss arbitration issues with the community as part of your campaign. --Michael Snow 03:59, 7 October 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Medcom bid

Luigi I regret to inform you that you have gained an oppose vote from within the medcom, and thus your nomination has been labeled as rejected. To review, see Wikipedia:Mediation Committee/Old nominations. Redwolf24 (talk) 18:17, 9 October 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Brackets

I'd like to put a caption on the image in this article. I've guessed at the font, could you correct it if I was wrong?

[edit] USS Maloy (DE-791)

I just wanted to let you know that while you recently tagged this article as a copyright violation, in truth it isn't. This article comes from the DANFS also know as the Dictionary of American Naval Fighting Ships, which is produced by the US Navy, and in turn is actually public domain. I admit that the page was not formatted properly and was just a copy and paste of whats on the navy site, but I thought you should know. I have also removed the copyvio and greatly improved that article. -- malo (talk)/(contribs) 18:56, 6 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Congratulations!

I'm pleased to inform you that you are now an administrator. Please consider reading all the material on the administrators' reading list before testing out your new privileges. Though everything you do, excluding image deletions and page history merges, is reversible, you should nevertheless be very careful with your sysop capabilities. For instructions, please see the administrators' how-to guide. Good luck! — Dan | talk 00:12, 9 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Article Deletion

Hello,

You deleted my article for copyright violation (db-copyvio). The article was "How to Find, Select, and Afford a Wedding Photographer". Located at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/How_to_Find%2C_Select%2C_and_Afford_a_Wedding_Photographer

I am the author of this article. Please contact me at info@dhbphotography.com if you need clarification.

Thanks, .

[edit] Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Criticism of Wikipedia

Why is this closed? Aren't they meant to go for 7 days? - Ta bu shi da yu 02:13, 10 December 2005 (UTC)

On a side note, you closed Ecstatic's entry in AfD, the result was delete yet the article is still there. Just thoguht I'd let you know. Cheers KnowledgeOfSelf | talk 04:03, 10 December 2005 (UTC)

Could you write the closure note as (for example) keep, do not move or merge? This sounds trivial, but keep as is sounds as if people agree the article should never be rewritten. I'd like to do this some day (hah) and then possibly move it to match its contents, and "keep as is" sounds as if consensus has established this must never be done, which isn't the case. JRM · Talk 13:41, 10 December 2005 (UTC)

You even removed the possible ambiguity from my suggested replacement text. Well done. :-) JRM · Talk 14:50, 10 December 2005 (UTC)

The Anti-Vandalism Barnstar

The RickK Anti-Vandalism Barnstar (formerly the Anti-Vandalism Barnstar) may be awarded to those who show great contributions to protecting and reverting attacks of vandalism on Wikipedia.

Hence I hereby award you this barnstar although it does not do juistice to your efforts. --Cool CatTalk|@ 19:09, 10 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Re: RickK Barnstar

Yay! Now... subliminal message? Luigi30 (Ταλκ) 14:39, 12 December 2005 (UTC)

Now I feel important. I went away for a day, and when I came back, CSD had 50 entries! I deleted 20 or so. How many barnstars is that worth? :P Luigi30 (Ταλκ) 15:22, 12 December 2005 (UTC)
If you did clean up the rank insignias after me (which most are now in commons) that would be a deletion barnstar. Yes, this does sound like birbary, infact it is. :P --Cool CatTalk|@ 17:11, 12 December 2005 (UTC)
Wouldn't that make me a deletionist? ;) Luigi30 (Ταλκ) 17:16, 12 December 2005 (UTC)
Perhaps! :)-MegamanZero 17:17, 12 December 2005 (UTC)
Where did you come from!? Luigi30 (Ταλκ) 17:29, 12 December 2005 (UTC)
No deletionists (my usage of the word) are disruptive people trying to delete knowlege (hence are no better than blankers), this is merely a delete of duplicated images. :) --Cool CatTalk|@ 17:19, 12 December 2005 (UTC)
Wait, isn't that the page with so many images that it singlehandedly brought down the images server once? Luigi30 (Ταλκ) 17:28, 12 December 2005 (UTC)
Actually, I speculated the image servers had gone down because I went mad one night and uploaded a mass amount of MegamanZero and Oh My Goddess images; for some reason it crashed after I was done... :)-MegamanZero 17:45, 12 December 2005 (UTC)
Yea. I think so, my level of edits generaly overstress the wikipedia servers. The problem actualy was the coplexity of the tables not number of images, however after the incident the page was broken into first 3 and then two (total of 6) pages.
Tonikaku, I am trying to move images to commons, I already moved a large portion and the coppies on en must go to wiki hell. I'd love to give you a list but you checking my history would be much easier. It should be among the past 500 edits and it is really hard to miss :) --Cool CatTalk|@ 18:45, 12 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Maoririder articles

Just out of interest, why are you removing speedy delete notices from articles such as Peaches and creme simply because they are written by User:Maoririder? You must realise that this isn't a real Wikipedia article?! Budgiekiller 22:10, 12 December 2005 (UTC)

Okay, so he's generated at least four articles tonight that are currently pointless. I'm all for people adding value to the Wikipedia, but if you add a title and then something like "work in progress" or worse, then it's pointless and must become a speedy delete, surely? Budgiekiller 22:13, 12 December 2005 (UTC)
Hang on, am I missing something here? Ham and lettace sandwich has just been added... Why? Budgiekiller 22:16, 12 December 2005 (UTC)

ham and lettace sandwich ham and lettice sandwich how do you spell lettace?

Lettuce..! Budgiekiller 22:19, 12 December 2005 (UTC)

dont go mad

Not mad, my friend, just curious. That's all. Just not sure how relevant to Wikipedia articles like ham and lettuce sandwich, or peaches and creme etc etc. I may only be here for a while, but others like me will stop these pages. No madness, just a bit of friendly advice... Budgiekiller 22:23, 12 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Whisper number

Are you familiar with financial terms and history? If not this should not have been deleted. I just looked up Google on this site - why is that not considered a glorified ad? I provided the definition (as found on investopedia) and I removed the link, so why has this been deleted? As noted in my talk response prior to deletion this entry can be found on numerous other sites including investopedia, freedictionary.com, investorwords.com, encarta.msn.com, and more. This is a financial term, and the definition and information provided is perhaps the most extensive found on the net. It should not have been deleted for these reasons.

It looked like an ad for whispernumber.com to me. I restored the article after looking it up on various sites and seeing it was real. Sorry. Luigi30 (Ταλκ) 14:58, 13 December 2005 (UTC)

Can you remove the 'speedy deletion' tag?

[edit] Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/All Evil

Hi. I'd just like to know whatever happened to this article, which I nominated for deletion. You closed the discussion, deciding the debate result as Delete, and yet you didn't delete it, removing the AfD tags from it instead. Is there some other procedural step I'm not aware of?

While we're at it, I'm not exactly sure what should be done about Image:All Evil.jpg - does it need a different nomination (obviously a speedy deletion) or would you delete it as a result of the same discussion, seeing as it is only linked from that same article? Thanks in advance. DanielCohen 03:39, 15 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Chess cbd40.png

Thanks for uploading Image:Chess cbd40.png. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).

The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}.

Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me. Thank you. Longhair 02:54, 2 February 2006 (UTC)

Bleh, can't respond on your talk page since I'm at school right now, so I'll respond here and paste it over there. I made the image in question. I'd GFDL-tag it, but I'm blocked while at school thanks to my idiot peers. Soon as I get home I'll tag it GFDL-self. Luigi30 (Ταλκ) 16:57, 2 February 2006 (UTC)
