Luis Medina (born August 8, 1990) is a grammy award winning Artist,Ghetto-Tech American Singer,Dancer,Actor,Model,Author, and song writter.

Medina grew up in the small town of Stockton, CA. Ever since he was a little boy, he was extremely gifted. As he grew, his gift grew even more and became known to the world even more.
He started working since he was 12 in 2002 & since he has won 3 Grammys,3 Golden Globes, & several Video music awards & American music awards.

Medina's Career hit big time when he formed his group Secret Lives of LAK in 2006. This band was a creation of 3 superstars who have won some of the most prestigous awards in Hollywood such as Grammy awards, American Music Awards, Video Music Awards, Emmys, Golden Globes, and Academy Awards.Luis who has been a successful model, actor, and singer wasn't thinking of joining the group cause he has had trouble with other groups.Amanda who was not really expecting this cause she does not do groups joined cause she was bankrupt and the only way to get back to her regular life was to join the group.Kevin who had been in trouble with the law and has been in and out of rehab found jesus and decided to get back into fame and fortune. Their multi-platinum singles hollaback girl and my humps " have both hit ..1 on the billboard charts.They won 4 American Music Awards this year.At the Video Music awards they won 5 awards of the night including the major award.And at the Grammys they won 4 awards.And their debut album LAK has sold over 7 million copies in the US and16 million copies around the world. After late 2006, the bands member Kevin sadly left the group because he had some personal issues he needed to attend to. Although they added a new member to try to continue the band, the fans began to lose in number. So eventually, the band broke up in late (2006).

The break-up devastated Medina. He started isolating himself from the press. He wouldn't come out of his house, or let his family come in. Not even his dog Latrine. He began missing school.Days turned to weeks,and weeks turned to months. The paparazzi started to irritate poor Medina causing him to do things he wouldn't normally do. He started working at a local company Intimate Fantasies where he had his night job.
With the help of Medina's close friends, he accepted help and got into rehab with his friend Kevin.After Rehab,Medina continued on with his life. He started to attend school again, where he met up with his band members and local friends. After a few months, Medina continued on with his career.

Medina decided to take on modeling. Which he was accepted in various magazines. His first magazing debut was in The Rolling Stone, where many fans of the magazine asked for more. The magazine striked its purchase record that held 2,001 magazines back in '97. Later many magazines began to pursue Medina. He came to be on more than 23 magazines. Magazines included J-14, Highlights,Nintendo Power,Electronic gaming,Seventeen, and many others. Medina decided that with his new fame and talent, he would pursue and acting career.

With his face known across the nation world, Medina's next role was to act. Medina's Agent posted many resumes, and he was scheduled to many call backs without even auditioning. Disney offered Medina his own movie, In Search of Latrine, which is scheduled to come out Fall 2007.
The plot of the movie is still under work. Some pending actors for the movie include Jet Li, Jacki Chan, Jack Black, and John Heeder. Althought since they're names all start in J, might be changed. The Movie revolves somewhat in a journey across the world to find Latrine, Medina's Dog around the world in 20 days.Rumors are that the movie might be filmed in Latin, and will have to be read in English Subtitles. Other Rumors include it shall be a parody of different movies. Whether these rumors are true or not, is not known.

As Medina's acting career was in succes, Medina decided to start writing Childrens Books. Books he wrote include Latrines' Clues Series, The Piano Playing Donkey, and The Spanish Speaking Cat. While his books nominated him for the nobel prize, Medina lost the award to Dr.Seuss.
As the year went by, Medina's books' popularity grew even more. Medina deided to write an Auto-Biography, about his childhood, fame,and ups and downs. He wrote the book, Luis Medina: The True Story(2006) which sky rocketed up to over 1 thousand sold copies in its first day. The book touched many and inspired them to face their fears and follow their dreams.
[edit] Return of His Music Career
As Medina waved goodbye to his author days, he decided to make an early retirement. Medina and his band decided it was time to get back into business after Medina's great success, Amanda's win in the lottery, and Kevin's completion of rehab. The band didn't let any time pass them, as they wrote several new songs, and published their second album in one month which was released December 23, 2006. The Album LAK-The Great Christmas Album , was only sold in Wal-Mart stores because all the other stores are all going bankrupt, it was the only way to go.
The band started its first tour since their breakup in Mexico, to gain fans from another country to double, maybe even triple the success.
