Lugar de San Roque

Lugar de San Roque is a small village belonging to San Miguel das Negradas parish, O Vicedo, Galiza, Spain.

It was named after the chapel of San Roque.

It was previously also called "Lugar do pazo" after a pazo, where María Sarmiento Ribadeneira and her husband Gomez Perez das Mariñas, governor of the Philippines, once lived.

Another old name for the place was Santa Mariña, after a chapel with this name.
