Lugal-Anne-Mundu

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Lugal-Anne-Mundu was the most important king of the city-state Adab in Sumer. According to Sumerian transcriptions, he conquered all of Mesopotamia, from the Persian Gulf to the Zagros Mountains and Elam. His empire, perhaps the first in recorded history, collapsed upon his death.

He reigned about 90 years (2490 - 2400 B.C.).
