[edit] Unsourced

I added this template despite the fact I have identified the source as the Italian Wikipedia, from which I translated the article.

However, the article there cites no sources and I have been unable to discover anything about Racaniello outside of Wikipedia and its mirrors.

Despite the fact that a duchy (ducato) of Racaniello is mentioned in the text—implying that Ludovico is a duke—there is nothing on the Racaniello family at the genealogical site http://www.sardimpex.com/ – not even a Racaniello marrying into another family. Indeed the Giulia Albizzi named as his wife and and the daughter of Maso, doesn’t appear as one of the latter’s children on the page http://www.sardimpex.com/degli%20Albizzi/Albizzi7.htm.

Odd. It is possible that the article is a spoof. Or that it is exaggerating Ludovico’s importance. —Ian Spackman 06:54, 12 March 2007 (UTC)
